Rialto Fire Stations
The Rialto Fire Department deploys from four fire stations staffed by 24 hours per day by career firefighters and one administrative office. The Rialto Fire Department staffs one battalion chief, three engine companies, one truck company and four paramedic ambulances each day. On-duty personnel also provide staffing for a Hazardous Materials unit and an Urban Search and Rescue unit.

Our City
The Rialto Fire Department serves the City of Rialto, an urban city with a population of over 100,000, located in San Bernardino County part of Southern California’s Inland Empire. The City encompasses 22 square miles and, in addition to its residential population, includes two major freeways, a large petroleum tank farm, one of California’s largest rail yards, and distribution facilities for several of America’s largest retailers.
Our History
Formed in 1905, the Rialto Fire Department became part of the City of Rialto upon the City’s incorporation on November 17, 1911. Initially formed to provide fire protection and emergency response for an agricultural community of 850 people, the Rialto Fire Department has seen significant changes in meeting the service needs of community.
