SAN BERNARDINO IN ORANGE TIER & VACCINATIONS FOR EVERYONE 16+

San Bernardino County Has Entered the Orange Tier

The City of Rialto and all of San Bernardino are now in the Orange Tier of COVID-19 reopening. This opens more sectors with greater capacity than in the previous Red Tier. Some examples include: Restaurants, Movie Theaters and Museums can open at 50% capacity; Bars can reopen outdoors even without food sales with limitations; Gyms and Bowling Alleys can operate at 25% capacity; and Retail and Libraries can operate at 100% capacity. Vaccinations Now Available for Everyone Age 16 and Older

San Bernardino County officials have announced that every County resident aged 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. The decision means thousands of additional residents may now schedule an appointment to receive one of the three FDA-approved vaccines.

Residents ages 16 and 17 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine, the only vaccine currently approved for people under 18, and in San Bernardino County Pfizer is available only at the County’s public health sites and the State’s OptumServe sites. They will also need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive the Pfizer vaccine. COVID-19 testing is available at the Johnson Center Gymnasium on the City of Rialto Community Center Campus located at 214 N. Palm Avenue. Testing is free and painless, appointments are highly recommended by you may attend for walk-in service Monday-Saturday 8:00am-8:00pm.
