Business Licensing Division
A License is usually defined as a “fee to have the right to operate a business”. The City of Rialto issues licenses to help recover the costs of providing City Services that are needed to maintain the appearance, efficiencies, and general condition of the City.
Community Compliance Division
The City of Rialto’s Community Compliance Division provides service to the 103,000 plus residents of this community and our local business partners in the City’s twenty-two square mile geographic limits.

Housing Programs Division
The Housing Division’s core purpose is to increase and improve the supply of affordable housing in Rialto.
The Planning Division performs the processes and functions that create an orderly, timely, and consistent development of public and private property within the City and assures that development follows the City’s adopted General Plan and applicable Zoning regulations.
Redevelopment / Successor Agency Division
On February 1, 2012, the Rialto Redevelopment Agency, along with all other redevelopment agencies in the State of California, was dissolved pursuant to the Redevelopment Dissolution Act. The City of Rialto has assumed the role of Successor Agency for the administration of dissolution and disposition of all Redevelopment Agency assets.
