- At all City Parks, maintains:
- Barbeques
- Benches
- Exercise equipment
- Picnic tables
- Playground equipment
- Provides tree trimming and removal of trees
- Provides burial services at the Cemetery
- Maintains over 269 City street miles including repairs to potholes and sunken roadway areas
- Provides repairs for approximately 760 miles of:
- Curbs
- Gutters
- Sidewalks
- Maintains public alleyways by clearing weeds and debris
- Collects trash and debris from City right-of-ways
- Performs weed abatement services
- Sweeps sand and debris twice a month from:
- Arterial
- Bike lanes
- Collector
- Downtown streets
- Maintains the flow of water through drainage ditches and detention ponds receiving stormwater runoff
- Provides the set up of road closures for:
- Emergencies
- Fires
- Special events
- Traffic accidents
- Etc.
- Produces and maintains over 13,000 signs that are posted with the City boundaries
- Sign types include:
- Guide signs
- Regulatory signs:
- Speed limit signs
- Stop signs
- Etc.
- Special signs
- Street name signs
- Warning signs:
- Railroad crossing
- Stop ahead
- Etc.
- Performs street striping, pavement marking, and crosswalk installation
