The purpose of the Community Development Department is to plan and maintain safe, sustainable, and livable neighborhoods for Rialto residents, to encourage high-quality development that strengthens our local economy and improves the quality of life for future generations. The Department consists of Building and Safety, Planning, Business Licensing, Economic Development, and Housing.
