Commissions & Committees
The City of Rialto has eight commissions advising staff and the City Council on a variety of topics. Committee members are appointed and meet on regularly scheduled days of the month. Agendas and other information are available on the website.

Cable Advisory Commission
The Rialto Cable Advisory Commission's vision is to pursue innovative technologies to meet the changing Educational, Social, Cultural, Economic Development, and Safety needs of our community by being advocates for superior telecommunications.

Historical Preservation Commission
The Historical Preservation Commission involves making recommendations concerning the designation, preservation, protection, enhancement, and perpetuation of these historical, and cultural resources which contribute to the culture and aesthetic values of the city.

Human Relations Commission
The Human Relations Commission was established to promote harmony among all people living, working, visiting or attending school in the city by designing and implementing, or supporting, multi-cultural events and other programs in collaboration with other city departments and agencies.

Mobile Home Rent Review Commission
The Mobile Home Rent Review Commission facilitates and encourages fair bargaining between mobile home owners and park owners in order to achieve mutually satisfactory agreements regarding space rental rates in mobile home parks.

Neighborhood & Housing Preservation & Beautification Commission
The Neighborhood and Housing Preservation and Beautification Commission acts in an advisory capacity on all policy matters pertaining to preservation of neighborhoods, recommend housing strategies, landscaping standards. Advise and recommend beautification of any streets, sidewalks and parks. Recognize public and/or private property owners for beautification efforts within the city.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission performs the functions, duties and powers provided in the Planning and Zoning Law referred to in Section 2.22.010. The commission performs such other functions and duties with respect to zoning and other matters.

Recreation & Parks Commission
The Recreation and Parks Commission meets to discuss issues related to the recreation programs, parks, and facilities.

Transportation Commission
The Transportation Commission, in an advisory capacity, addresses transportation issues, review and development of systems, facilities, plans, policies and programs, which relate to public transportation and circulation within the City.

Utilities Commission
The Rialto Utilities Commission advises and makes recommendations to the City Council on problems of public relations, standards of service, acquisition and/or franchising of utilities and rules and regulations,

Economic Development Committee Agendas
